FAQs

Can you accommodate cats with special diets and medication?

Yes, we accommodate pets requiring special dietary requirements, their own unit, their own food and administer any prescribed medicine as per veterinary instructions.

What happens if my cat needs veterinary attention?

We have an excellent and highly reliable local veterinary on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. During public holidays, we are within 15 minutes of the Manukau Emergency Vets. All veterinary costs are the owner's responsibility.

Can I visit the facility before booking?

Yes, facility tours are available 7 days a week between 2pm and 3pm, outside of public and school holidays. Tours are by appointment only during peak season.

What vaccinations are required for cats?

Cats must have current inoculations for Feline infectious enteritis, Feline viral rhinotracheitis, and Feline calicivirus, with a booster within 12 months. Only pets with up-to-date vaccination certificates will be accepted.

What flea and worm treatment is required?

Flea treatment and worming must be current within 28 days of arrival.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Sunday to Friday: 8am-12pm and 1pm-4:30pm. Saturday: 8am-12pm and 1pm-3:30pm. We are closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Is there a charge for early collection?

Collection before 11am on the day of departure incurs a half-day charge. Full daily rate applies for later collection. During peak season (Dec 12 - Feb 8), full day is charged on arrival and departure regardless of time.

What is the peak season pricing?

Peak season runs December 12 to February 8, with rates of $28 per day per cat (compared to standard $22). Public holidays have an additional $12 surcharge per cat. No discounts apply during peak season.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash and EFTPOS. Credit card and Paywave payments incur surcharges. Payment in full is required before we will release your pet.
