Allandale staff take great care of your pets and get to know them really well. The facilities are modern, clean and warm and it's great going away knowing your pets are safe, happy and well looked after. Highly recommended.
My dog was very well looked after and did not put on any extra weight which is a good sign that she was given the right amount of food as specified and well exercised. Tania seems to sus out individual dogs personalities and treat each dog according to their needs.
Convenient location near the airport for early flights. The indoor cattery is warm and comfortable. Our cat seemed very settled when we picked her up.

What are your cat boarding rates?
Standard cattery is $19/day for a single cat or $36/day for two cats. Penthouse Suite is $22/day for a single cat or $42/day for two cats. Multi-pet discount of $1/day per pet applies for 2+ pets from the same family.
What vaccinations are required?
Proof of current immunisation is required for each pet. You must provide your vaccination certificate at check-in.
What are your opening hours?
Drop-off and pickup is daily 8am-10am and 4pm-6pm. Out of hours access is available by arrangement for a $35 fee.
How are boarding charges calculated?
Charges begin on the day of arrival. If you depart before 10am on your checkout day, there is no charge for that day. Departures after 10am incur a full day fee.
Can I bring my cat's own food?
Yes, you may supply your own pet food if preferred at no extra charge. We also provide top quality food giving pets a fully balanced diet.
What types of cat accommodation do you offer?
We offer Standard cattery units with central heating, toys, windows and an activity area. Penthouse Suites provide luxurious accommodation with bay windows and tranquil views. The Community Room has inside/outside areas with a courtyard setting for social cats.
Do cats get outdoor time?
Yes, all cat guests enjoy time outside in safe and secure yards twice a day, every day.

Yes, our indoor cattery has central heating throughout to keep cats warm and comfortable, especially important during Dunedin winters.
