What are your boarding rates?
Semi Communal is $18.50/day per cat. Family Condos are $23.50/day (off-peak), $26/day (peak), or $30/day (Christmas/New Year & Easter) for 1 cat. 2 cats sharing is $39/day, 3 cats sharing is $48/day.
What is the difference between Semi Communal and Family Condos?
Semi Communal areas have playrooms with climbing structures, scratching poles, tunnels and toys, with individual cages for nighttime sleeping. Family Condos are for compatible cats from the same household and include both indoor and outdoor areas.
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Friday: 8am-9am and 4:30pm-5:30pm. Saturday: 8am-9am only (closed afternoons). Sunday: 4:30pm-5:30pm only (closed mornings).
When are you closed?
We are closed for drop-offs/pickups on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, the day after New Year's Day, and from Good Friday through Easter Monday morning. Public holiday Mondays we close Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning, reopening Monday afternoon.
Do you offer microchipping?
Yes, microchipping is available for $50 which includes registration on the New Zealand Companion Animal Register. Andrea is trained and qualified in microchipping.
Is the cattery heated and cooled?
Yes, we have double glazing, full insulation, heat pumps, and air conditioning to keep it cosy in winter and cool in summer.
What food do you provide?
We feed Royal Canin brand food. We also provide catnip and cat grass as treats, plus various toys for entertainment.
Can you accommodate cats with special needs?
Yes, we cater to cats with special needs, senior cats, and those with chronic illnesses. We have a separate isolation facility and staff trained to handle special dietary requirements and medications.
Do you offer long-term stay discounts?
Yes, long-term stay discounts are available upon request at the time of booking.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Eftpos, cash, internet banking and credit cards. Credit cards incur a surcharge.
Is there a public holiday surcharge?
Yes, there is a $6 surcharge per cat per statutory holiday.
