I have needed to travel both nationally and internationally and have always left my cat Tiger with Katrina. I think he thought it was a real cat spa and seemed lonely when it came to just me. He was glossy, fit and well. I recommend Katrina to any cat owner.

As a frequent traveller overseas, my cat Zac spends a considerable amount of time in what has become his second home. The cattery is very clean and warm, the cats have plenty to amuse themselves within the outdoors area, are very well fed and remain in top condition. Katrina is the ideal cat minder.

We have been taking our two cats to Cat Purr-Fection since about 2006. The longest we have left them was about 21 days and we knew they were in safe and capable hands. Each unit has a large caged area with toys and comfortable chairs for a bit of sunshine snoozing.

FAQs

Is a current vaccination certificate required?

Yes, documentation from your vet specifying F3 vaccine within the past year is required. If your cat has not been vaccinated before, it will take at least two weeks for full immunity after vaccination.

Do I need to supply food?

All food is supplied during your cat's stay. Please talk to staff if your cat is on a special diet.

What should I bring?

Bring your cat in a wire or solid plastic carry cage (one cat per cage). We supply bedding, blankets, scratching poles, toys and feeding bowls. We recommend bringing an article of clothing with your scent to help your cat settle.

Will my cat be in contact with other cats?

Your cat will have its own accommodation. During the day, cats socialise and receive plenty of attention and affection from staff.

What if my cat gets sick while I'm away?

Staff regularly check the health of all guests by monitoring behaviour, appetite and litter usage. If a vet visit is necessary, you will be contacted. There is a quarantine retreat available to ensure other guests are not affected.

When do I need to pay?

A 50% deposit is required for stays longer than two weeks or during peak periods (school holidays). Balance is due on check-out. Payment by cash, EftPos or internet banking. Late payments incur a 15% surcharge.
