How much does cat boarding cost?
Single condo for one cat is $17/day. Two cats sharing a single condo is $28/day. Double condo for two cats is $34/day. Long stay discounts available for 21+ and 42+ days.
Do you charge per day or per night?
We charge based on calendar days rather than nights. A Friday-to-Sunday stay counts as three calendar days.
What vaccinations are required?
Cats must have current vaccinations for Panleukopenia, Respiratory Disease, and Calicivirus. Vaccinations must be completed at least 7 days before boarding. Proof required at drop off.
Do cats need to be desexed?
Cats over four months should be desexed for boarding. Limited availability exists for intact animals at higher rates.
What are your check-in hours?
Monday-Friday 8-10am and 4-6pm, Saturday 8-10am, Sunday 4-6pm. Out of hours available by appointment with $40 additional fee.
Do you offer webcam access?
Yes, CatVilla Cam access is $2/day. We also have a Cat Treat Cam with treat dispensing for $3/day.
Do you offer pick-up and delivery?
Yes, Pet Taxi service covers Kapiti ($29), Levin ($35), Porirua/Tawa ($55), Wellington CBD ($79), and more.
What are the cat condos like?
Single condos measure 1.2m x 1.0m x 1.0m with semi-community area access. Two singles combine into one double. Maximum two cats per single condo.
Do you have isolation facilities?
Yes, isolation condos are reserved for ill cats or unvaccinated/incompletely vaccinated cats at $6/day additional. No communal access.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations within 24 hours of booking are free. Changes/cancellations over 30 days before stay are free. Shorter notice may incur 25% or higher fees.
What about Christmas bookings?
Christmas Booking List operates from 1st January each year. 50% non-refundable deposit required. $3/day surcharge for cats during Christmas season.
Can you administer medication?
Yes, all medications including injections are administered. Fees: $1/day basic (once daily), $2/day extended (twice daily), $5/day complex (3+ pills, injections, special treatments).
What should I bring?
Bring vaccination records (proof required), pet's usual food (or we provide for $2.50/day), medications if needed, familiar bedding and toys. Don't bring flea collars or non-breakaway collars.
