Daily Rates (from April 2025, GST inclusive):
- Communal Area: $25 (single cat) or $23 each (two cats sharing)
- Individual Unit: $35 (single cat) or $60 total (two cats)
- Bedsit/Timeshare/Apartment: $39 (single cat) or $66 total (two cats)
- Double Unit (Indoor/Outdoor): $65
- Critical Care: $65
Additional Charges:
- Public holidays: $5/day per cat
- Medication administration: $2/dose (tablets/liquid), $5/dose (insulin)
- Flea treatment if required: $60 (Bravecto 3-month)
Discounts:
- Gold Card holders: 10% off
- Long-term stays (30+ days): 10% off (excludes peak periods)
Requirements
- Vaccination: Current within 12 months, administered at least 10 days before arrival (Feline Panleukopenia, Calcivirus, Rhinotracheitis)
- Desexing: All cats must be desexed
- Flea/Worm Treatment: Required before arrival (Bravecto Spot On or Nexguard recommended)
- Carrier: Secure cat carrier required for transport

An oasis for cats. My cat loved it here and was calm and happy overtime i picked him up. Jan goes above and beyond to ensure the cats are nurtured and happy during their stay. My boy has stayed several times in the last year and he doesn't stress about going in the carrier or car, I think because he enjoys going!
Absolutely amazing experience at Keepin Katz! I recently left my cat Lyla here for a week and it was her first time ever at a cattery. I can confidently say this is the only place I'll trust with her in the future. Jan is not only warm and welcoming, but also funny and clearly passionate about caring for cats.
This cat resort is the best! Beautiful surroundings and the best care I've ever seen. Our cat is a bit skittish but she always comes back so calm and happy. Jan really cares about her guests and it shows. 10 out of 5 stars.
I can't recommend Jan and the Keepin Katz team highly enough. My cat Dude stayed a week and when I picked him up he was super chill & happy. He clearly has enjoyed his stay and felt relaxed and has been well cared for. Thank you!

What are the payment options?
Payment is accepted by EFTPOS or online banking only. Credit cards are not accepted. Full payment must be made before collection.
Do you offer discounts for longer stays?
Yes, long-term bookings exceeding 30 days receive a 10% discount. Gold Card holders also receive 10% off. Discounts do not apply during peak season or school holidays.
Can I check on my cat during their stay?
Yes, photo updates are shared via Facebook during your cat's stay so you can see how they're settling in.
Do you offer pick-up and delivery?
Yes, collection and drop-off services are available throughout Auckland.
How far in advance can I book?
Bookings are accepted up to 12 months in advance. Early booking is recommended for peak periods.
What are the Christmas booking requirements?
For the Christmas period (December 20 - February 7), a 50% non-refundable deposit is required with a minimum 7-day stay.
