Reviews
Purradise is the most beautiful cattery I've been in. The solo rooms are spacious, two level, have windows that can open slightly for fresh air, and views of the bush. Kirsten was kind, gracious and worked with me to help prepare for my elderly cat's possible health complications.
If you're looking for a trustworthy, safe, and loving place to leave your furbaby, then can't recommend Kirsten enough! My gal has been here heaps over the years. Kirsten so genuinely cares, it's obvious she is so passionate about animals.
This place is a five star hotel for cats!!
Without question the best cattery we've ever put our cat into.
FAQs
How are cats kept at night?
Cats in communal areas are placed into individual rooms at night where they sleep and are fed, allowing staff to monitor food intake. After breakfast, they access the communal area for climbing, sunbathing, and balcony time.
Should my cat have a private room?
A private room suits elderly, timid, or antisocial cats, or those whose owners prefer isolation. These cats won't be disturbed by others and can graze throughout the day.
Do cats fight in the cattery?
No fighting occurs because cats are territorial animals and the cattery is neutral ground. They're closely monitored during settlement periods, and a Feliway diffuser is used.
How often are cats fed?
Twice daily: morning and night. Communal cats are fed at set times; individual unit cats have food available for grazing with fresh servings morning and night.
What food do you provide?
Wet food brands include Royal Canin, Whiskas, Dine, and Fancy Feast. Dry food is Royal Canin for adults and kittens. You may bring your own food (no discount applies).
Will my cat be okay if they've never stayed in a cattery?
Cats settle into their new environment fairly quickly. Bringing items with your scent helps accelerate adjustment.
Can I get updates on my cat?
We offer photo/text updates 1-2 times per week for $1 per text ($1.50 during peak season). We also post photos on Facebook 1-2 times per week.
Can I inspect the cattery before booking?
Yes, viewings are available by appointment. Call to arrange a time.
Is the cattery heated?
Yes, two heat pumps provide heating and cooling. The cattery is fully insulated with individual heaters in double rooms.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, EFTPOS, Mastercard, and Visa. A 3% surcharge applies to Visa and Mastercard. Payment is due upon pickup.
